Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss, a bluegrass musician from Tennessee aged 19, was a major famous national figure in the year 1990 following receiving the Grammy Award as the Best Bluegrass Album. The award was impressive not only because of Krauss's old age, however, the album that was a part of her success, I've Got That Old Feeling It was actually the third album in the collection of Krauss. The first album, Too Late to Cry which was released at the time that the Champaign, Illinois, native was just 16 years old; she had made a deal with Rounder Records, one of the most respected folk label in the business--at the age of fourteen. Her achievements even at a youthful age, as well as her skill, are consistently confirmed by the fact that she has kept her commitment to bluegrass music - one of the country's oldest and least appreciated musical genres. Krauss, who was once the hottest teenager in America, had matured into a musician as well as a producer.
